How long have you been a member at the MAC?We joined March of 2023!
What initially attracted you to become a member of our community? We love all the amenities and programming the MAC provides around athletics and family events. You might see us in the “kitchen” on the pickleball court or in the club room working alongside Milwaukee’s finest professionals. The MAC’s location is ideal for a gathering place with family & friends before a Bucks game and we absolutely love the MAC Pontoon!
What are your favorite summer events to attend? We love the Rooftop Music Series and last year’s July 4th celebration was a blast!
What does a typical day at the MAC look like for you? We like to arrive early to get a spot in the Club Lounge as we prepare for our work day, Sabrina carves out time for a workout and we’ll finish with dinner at The Roof. Don’t sleep on that spicy salmon bowl!
What’s something about you that would surprise fellow Members? Alec and I met one another in a really funny and unique way! His mother was my landlord! I rented her upper unit in her beautiful Wauwatosa duplex! He lived up in St. Paul, MN and was coming home to Milwaukee to work on the 2016 presidential campaign and then planned to return to St. Paul. We met, had one date and the rest is history!
Can you share a memorable experience or favorite memory from your time spent at the MAC? Wanda with MAC Kids is such a gem of a human being. She makes each child feel welcome and looks after them with kindness and heart. She’s one of those people who you feel like you’ve known for a while after just meeting her for the first time. Thanks Wanda!
How would you describe the MAC in three words: Iconic. Welcoming. Vibrant.
Lastly, what message or piece of advice would you like to share with other members who are just starting their journey with us at the MAC? The MAC experience is what you make of it so lean in, build relationships and get involved if you’re keen to see change!
