By fostering connections, providing opportunities, and spreading awareness, we aim to inspire our members to leverage their resources and influence to address local challenges and create a more vibrant and equitable city.

Bernie's Book Bank

Bernie’s Book Bank sources, processes, and distributes FREE quality, culturally relevant new and gently used books for local children in Title 1 schools and early childhood programs. 

Book Drive Details / How You Can Donate

  • December 7-21, 2024: Drop box location in the MAC lobby
  • Donate your new and gently used children's books aged birth through sixth grade
  • Please, no workbooks, textbooks or reference material

  • May - July: Food Drive supporting Echelon, Hunger Task Force, and Salvation Army
  • Holiday Season: Book Drive benefiting Bernie's Book Bank

    2023:
  • March: Clothing Drive in partnership with Echelon.
  • Summer: First Ones for a Cause benefiting Sharp Literacy and Salvation Army and more
  • December: Toy Drive with Echelon.
